"Our Trail"

We live on the Paul Bunyan Trail. The trail has been paved in segments and is used for biking, walking, running etc. in the summer and is a snowmobile trail in the winter. It was one of the main reasons we purchased our house and I can't imagine living here without it. We haven't been active on the trail this spring/summer because of the projects around the house. But after tonight I'm going to make it a point again to get out there every night.

Cole and I decided tonight would be a good night for a walk, mosquito's and all and I'm so glad we did. The Lady Slipper's aren't blooming on the trail yet but last summer were on both sides. To give an idea: our property is a long rectangle with the trail running parallel-lengthwise on one side and a county road on the other side. We are nicely nestled between the two. The house is barely visible through the trees which is wonderful for privacy. We have the Bungashing Creek running through the property and this time of year it is simply beautiful.

The beginning of 'our part' of the Paul Bunyan Trail.
